emOy is the one (wo)men company of Catherine Van Holder. Catherine is passionate about online communication, lifestyle, design & travel. She has a masters degree in philosophy and a post graduate in marketing communication management. Upon graduation she was offered a job as a researcher at the University of Ghent (logics departement). Her postgraduate thesis on web 2.0 marketing communication - for which she got a magna cum laude grade - serves as course material at KHM now.

Being surrounded by design through birth (Mom being an interior designer in, and dad being the CEO of a design kitchen company), she has a strong connection with all things design. For several years she has worked as an interior designer and online communication manager within that field.

Combining her background in logic and design, Catherine is always on the look to merge beauty with efficiency, to combine a few minimal straight lines with curves of imagination. Focussing on online communication for design-minded & creativity/lifestyle inspired firms, within emOy she combines the best of both worlds.
